Wearing Suggestions: Who says you can’t wear a maxi skirt in the winter? If you sport this classic Burberry plaid A-line, you’ll have a timless, professional and polished look for work or entertaining. Count on Burberry to keep you warm in this classic bias-cut Burberry plaid wool. The slim A-line cut allows for easy movement, and the bias cut provides ease in sitting or walking.

We highly recommend wearing this skirt with a tall below-the-knee boot. It’s a style that transcends decades, and looks just as hip now as ever. The long A-line skirt was popular in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, but this is no vintage piece! (But seriously, can’t you just picture Mary Richards on the Mary Tyler Moore show wearing this!?) You can wear it with a high heel boot, or a flat equestrian style, as suits your personality or lifestyle.

This timeless Nova Check Burberry plaid will never go out of style, for the simple reason that it’s been their classic design for over a century. They’ll never stop making it, and the bias cut fabric in an A-line style is super comfortable to wear. You can keep your look classic by pairing the skirt with a turtleneck flat knit sweater. If you prefer to mix it up a bit, then try a chunky off-white fisherman’s knit sweater. We also recommend a tailored blazer and button down shirt. If you choose a classic blazer keep the jacket length to waist or hip length to show off your waistline and elongate your look.

Chris is a self-confessed resale fashionista. A fashion recycler from an early age, she learned the consignment business from her mother, Jan Gauger, at omt divine resale in Lincoln, Nebraska. Chris moved to Portland, Oregon in 1990 and immediately felt at home, among her people. She started Here We Go Again Deluxe Resale Boutique in 1992 and has never looked back. The second location of her store opened in 1997. Chris loves pretty much everything about clothes and fashion, but she has a serious boot and shoe addiction that is fed by the two stores. It's doubtful she will ever be recovered. In addition to clothes, Chris loves mentoring young women and teaching them about what it takes to run and manage a small business. She has employed some pretty remarkable women over the years and is grateful for all they've done to help grow Here We Go Again. She is a Hoosier by birth, but was raised in Nebraska. She has two sisters who continue to run the consignment store there, and one brother who has sense enough to stay out of the way. Her husband of twenty-seven years, is a land use planner and the fix-anything-guru that Chris relies upon more often than she'd like.
